Our Approach

We believe you are the ‘you’ expert. We know you have the solutions to the challenges you face, but we also know it can often be hard to hear or trust that wisdom. That's why we listen. You can expect us to help you by facilitating a process whereby you reconnect with yourself and learn to trust yourself and your wisdom. While our team respond to your individual requirements, they follow a general structure. Across therapy, you can expect your therapist to:

  • identify the current challenges you face
  • develop a treatment plan that meets your specific goals and needs
  • help you identify habitual patterns of behaviour and thought that perpetuate your distress.
  • deliver evidence-based psychotherapy and interventions to facilitate growth and change, and
  • monitor your progress.

Our Treatments

Our team have been trained in a range of evidence-based psychological interventions. It is common for them to use helpful elements from a number of these in response to your needs throughout your therapy. Your therapist may introduce to:

  • Schema Therapy
  • Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Imago Therapy
  • Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI), and
  • Narrative Therapy.

Don't compare yourself with other people; compare yourself with who you were yesterday.
